Zander's ideal home

Zander is a handsome German Shepherd with lots of energy. Aged just 8-months-old, he is still learning about the big wide world around him, and it is vital that any new experiences be kept positive for him whilst he is in this development stage of life. Zander can be a sensitive chap at times and prefers a gentle approach to building a friendship. Equally, he enjoys a calm and peaceful environment, where he can relax into his surroundings. Due to a lack in information on Zander’s background, as well as his sensitive nature, he will be seeking a home with older teens. Zander lacks in social skills around other dogs and can become frustrated upon seeing them, leaving him to react through pulling and barking. He will need to be walked on his lead and harness whilst out and must be the only pet at home. A garden of his own is essential, so that he can enjoy an off lead zoom about and burn off steam.

Zander is a very smart boy who loves to learn and will make for an excellent companion to adopters who can provide him with lots of training, mental stimulation, and the outdoor adventures that he longs for. German Shepherd Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a German Shepherd.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
