Bella's ideal home

Bella is a gentle, loving 11-year-old German Shepherd Cross looking for a calm and quiet retirement home. Her days of long walks are behind her; she is looking for somewhere with a garden so she can potter about and snooze in the sunshine. Bella would be fine to live with secondary school aged children who understand when to give her space and she could potentially live with another calm dog, pending a successful meet first. Bella has arthritis so would be best suited to a home without steps into the garden, and she is fully housetrained.

Bella is so affectionate once she knows you, and she loves nothing more than a good fuss. Bella does have some arthritis and is overweight so she can struggle with her back legs sometimes, although she is managing this well with medication and a controlled diet. Bella is currently living off site in a foster home where her carer tells us she is the perfect houseguest.
