Axel is an active boy who has bundles of energy. He can be wary meeting new people and will need to meet his new family multiple times at the centre before he will be ready to go home. Axel will benefit from a home that have experience with large active breeds and keen on training. He adores playing ball and must have access to a private garden in his new home.

1-year-old Axel must be the only pet in his new home and could potentially live with teens over the age of 16 if they have experience around large dogs. He is wary of other dogs and will need more help building his social skills. Axel cannot live with cats or small furries. Axel can be left for short periods if built up slowly once he has settled into his new home and he travels well in the car.
