About This Dog

Rowan's ideal home

Meet Rowan, a charming 5-month-old German Shepherd puppy eagerly searching for his forever home. This delightful pup is currently living with his sibling Reece, and they enjoy playing together. While Rowan is initially cautious when meeting other dogs, he warms up and becomes curious after some reassurance. He could potentially live with another calm dog after successful introductions at the center. Rowan also has the potential to live with cats, provided careful introductions are made in the home. Due to his occasionally timid yet excitable nature, Rowan would thrive in a household with children aged 4 and up who are accustomed to energetic dogs. Though he can be a bit unsure during initial greetings, with a gentle, hands-off approach, he quickly gains confidence and enjoys affection.

Could you be Rowan's perfect match?

Rowan arrived at the center as a stray without any background information. He will need time to adjust to his new home, so a family that's around most of the time initially would be ideal. While a garden is a bonus, it’s not essential as long as Rowan has regular access to outdoor areas for toilet training and exercise. This young pup is still learning about the world and would benefit from gradual socialisation to the great outdoors. Rowan adores carrying his toys around, with a teddy being his favourite companion. He is still mastering house training and walks well on a leash for a pup. If you're looking for a lovable, lively companion, Rowan might just be the perfect addition to your family!
