About This Dog for Adoption

Bonnie H's ideal home

Meet Bonnie, a gorgeous German Shepherd, who is nearly 2 ½ years old.
Bonnie could join a family with children as young as preschool aged and older, as she loves nothing more than being with people, lapping up lots of cuddles and playing ball games. She is a super clever girl and knows all of basic training including being housetrained.

Bonnie would enjoy a home with a secure garden but would be able to cope with a communal space or no garden, as long as she has access to regular walks and off lead time in a secure area. She travels well in the car, which opens up opportunities for adventures in areas further away from home.

Could you be Bonnie H's perfect match?

Bonnie has the potential to live with another dog pending successful introductions at the centre. She enjoys socialising with other dogs during walks and playdates too.

While she has not lived with other animals, she is known to chase cats, so she is unable to join a home with a cat.

Bonnie is still living with her owners while a part of our Homestay scheme, so she is not currently at the centre. However, appointments can be made to meet her if you are matched by our Rehoming Team.

Dogs Trust Adoption Process

Thinking of adopting through Dogs Trust? Here's what to expect before you start your application.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
