About This Dog for Adoption

Millie's ideal home

Meet Millie and Storm, two delightful 7-year-old companions—a German Shepherd and a Doberman—seeking their forever home through our Home Stay scheme together. Due to their current owner's health issues, these lovable dogs are ready to bring joy to a new family. Millie and Storm have wonderful temperaments, making them great with older primary school-aged children aged 8yrs and above who are accustomed to energetic dogs. They may get excited when meeting new people, but they quickly settle down after a friendly greeting. Both dogs are house-trained, signalling when they need to go outside, and they know basic commands like “sit” and “wait.”

Could you be Millie's perfect match?

Though they’re strong on the lead and could benefit from positive training for Loose Lead Walking, Millie and Storm have been accustomed to off-lead walks in the past. They are social around other dogs, although Storm may bark initially out of frustration when on a lead. They are accustomed to being left alone for 4-6 hours and are happy to share a cozy bed at night. Ideally, they would love a home with a garden for off-lead play and toileting, but regular access to secure fields or outdoor spaces will suit them just fine if no garden available. Millie and Storm currently live with their owners, and while part of our homestay scheme, they are not at the center. Appointments can be arranged to meet these charming dogs.

Khol 7

Khol

  • 9 Years Old

Khol's ideal home Khol is a loving older boy who has been making firm friends with both humans and Dogs since arriving here. We don’t know if he’s ever been around children before and at 9 years old will likely not want the hustle and bustle of young kids in the house. Those of secondary school age would be fine though as he has been happy to greet all the new faces here.
