About This Dog

Groot's ideal home

Groot is a sweet German Shepard cross that can't wait to say goodbye to kennels and hello to his forever home. He is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time. He is looking for a home where everyone is over the age of 16 as he can be worried meeting new people, but will come around with patience and understanding. He is also looking for a home where someone can help him engage with mental enrichment as well as taking him out on nice sniffy walks. The way to Groot's heart is through toys as he loves playing with them and this is how he's been making friends here at the centre. He loves making dog friends out and about and could live with another dog pending a successful meet here at the centre.

Could you be Groot's perfect match?

Groot is a lovely boy but is worried by life. He finds new people a little worrying and take some time to warm up. He loves his toys and likes to play with other dogs. He's is very affectionate once he gets to know you and loves a fuss. He's a sweet natured boy that needs someone to show him the world isn't scary.
