About This Dog

Kai's ideal home

Meet gorgeous lad, Kai! Kai is a 4-year old German Shepherd looking for his forever home. Kai is a super sweet boy, who is looking to be the only dog in the home. He would love a family that are willing to work with his doggy social skills, as he can be a bit barky when seeing other dogs. Kai is wanting all children in the home to be 16yrs+ as he likes a more predictable routine and setup, finding children a bit worrying. Any visitors to the home will also need to be over the age of 16.
Kai is a stunning young lad, who is wonderfully friendly with everyone he meets. He is polite when saying hello, and will be your best buddy if you have a toy to offer! Kai travels well in the car, and loves to get out for his long, sniffy walks. He will make a wonderful adventuring companion! He can pull a bit on lead at times, but likes to get his head down and explore new places. Kai is a very clever boy who enjoys his food - he loves scent games and trick training! He takes his treats nice and gently, but does much prefer a playtime with his toys!
Kai does enjoy getting out for a bit of a paddle in shallow water, and would enjoy quieter walks where he can explore.

Could you be Kai's perfect match?

Kai is a super boy, who would love a family that are active and willing to take him on fun adventures and engage in exciting playtime! He is fully house-trained and is happy to be left for 4-6 hours with a break once settled.
Kai does have a tendency to want to chase cats, so an area with minimal cats may make him feel a bit more secure! He is happy with all handling, and will need regular grooming due to his beautifully thick coat.
Due to Kai's past of being bitten by a dog, he is worried around them. He can be a bit vocal, so this is something we are building his confidence with! An understanding, patient family would be brilliant for Kai as he has so much potential!
Kai loves somewhere nice and comfy to lay down and chill. Anything squishy and soft, he's all over! He often likes to carry around his emotional support teddy, which makes us love him even more.
We can't wait to see this handsome chappy in his forever home!
