Bandit's ideal home

Bandit is on the search for his forever home with adopters who can be around for most of the day to help him settle into home life. As Bandit was a stray we do not know if he has lived in a home environment before so adopters will need to be understanding that it may take him time to get used to a home routine. Bandit could live with another dog in the home and would also like to continue his socialisation with other dogs out on his walks. He can live with secondary school aged children in the home who are comfortable around bouncy dogs. Bandit would like a garden to enjoy with his family but this could be private or communal.

Bandit is a cheeky and loveable boy with the looks to match! He adores playing with toys and absolutely loves the ones that squeak. He will play both independently and with his handlers- which is a great way to build a bond. Bandit loves all things treats- this is a great way to get stuck into training as he currently doesn’t know much. Bandit likes to get his brain working and will get stuck into enrichment activities at mealtimes with Kong’s, cardboard and puzzles. German Shepherd Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a German Shepherd.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the German Shepherd Owners website
Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images
