Max's ideal home
Max is a big, bouncy boy who is looking for an active home where he can learn the basics. Max has been in a home previously but will need some time to adjust and settle into a new environment, and will need a home where he isn’t left alone for too long while he finds his feet as he can be very inquisitive and may cause mischief! Max doesn’t know his own size and can be strong on lead! He will need his own garden where his people can help him work on his lead walking, and where he can play off lead. Max can be a bit of an anxious chap and does sometimes mouth when he’s feeling overwhelmed so is better suited to an adult only home with owners who are comfortable with large dogs and an interest in training. Max can be a bit intense with other dogs so will need to be the only dog for now, but would really benefit from some further socialisation with tolerant dogs once he’s settled into his new home! Because he is uncomfortable with other dogs he will need to be walked muzzled, he is currently in training but loves getting lots of yummy treats. Potential adopters will need to visit Max a couple of times to get to know him and have a chat with his carers regarding his behaviour and training.
