Stormi is a lovely 4-year-old German Shepherd who is looking for her perfect forever home.
Stormi came to us with her litter of puppies, she was a great mum and is now looking for her forever home. She's been through a turbulent start in life that left her with the loss of an eye, but it's incredible how trusting and resilient she remains. She is in foster care at the moment and has been doing very well. She is a gentle girl who can find life stressful at times, because of this we think she would suit a calmer home with older children.
Stormi has shown she can be left on her own and will settle until you come back, in her foster home she settles well overnight downstairs and likes to sleep on the sofa. She needs to be the only pet in the home as she is reactive to dogs and does not like cats. She is friendly with everyone she meets and will happily greet visitors. She requires ongoing training to be able to walk calmly past other dogs, but she has shown to be well trained in many other ways; she is clean in the house and not destructive. Stormi does not need a large amount of walking due to her mobility issues, so she would be happy with a large garden to potter around and watch the birds, with the occasional walk somewhere quiet.

Stormi is a lovely lady with a lot of love to give, she is looking for an experienced home where she can be allowed to settle as she can find life quite stressful. Since she has been in foster she has really come out of her shell; she is beginning to gain her confidence and loves to have a mooch around the garden and a sleep on the sofa!
Stormi does have some spinal and hip-related medical issues, but these are well-managed with long-term pain relief. Although it affects her gait, it doesn't dampen her spirits. Our vet team can provide detailed information on how to manage her medical needs and ensure she continues to live a happy, comfortable life.
Stormi is a girl girl who is eager to learn, she will sit for treats and is a very gentle natured dog, with gentle and consistent training she will thrive in her forever home.
