Ruby's ideal home
Ruby is a friendly girl who could live in a moderately busy home. She has some worries around new people so is looking for an adult-only home and would prefer there not to be many visitors to the house. Ruby has been in our care for some time while she has been treated for heartworm. Now that these treatments have come to an end she is ready to find a home. Ruby will need to be the only dog in the home. While undergoing her treatment she had to be kept apart from other dogs and so would benefit from continued careful resocialisation.

Ruby is a German Shepherd cross who is 8 years old. She was sadly found as a stray and so we don’t know much about her life prior to arrival in our care. However we’ve discovered she has a passion for soft toys and cosy beds! Ruby has been getting used to car travel but can still be worried getting in, so a little bit of confidence-building around this would be great. We recommend any time that Ruby spends left home alone is built up from scratch. Ruby is the sweetest soul and with a little bit of patience while she learns to settle and get used to her new environment she should make an amazing pet.
