Dakota is a lovely 1-year-and-9-month-old girl who is confident and friendly when meeting new people. She is a playful and bouncy girl who loves having fun, especially when there are toys to enjoy, treats to munch and plenty of fuss and cuddles to go around! Dakota can be conflicted when meeting other dogs, so her new family will need to be committed to continuing her socialisation and helping her build positive experiences around other dogs at her own pace. Dakota cannot live with other dogs, cats or small furries. She can live with children of older primary-school age who are comfortable around larger breeds and are happy to enjoy her playful, energetic nature.

Dakota has medium energy levels and will enjoy a good balance of exercise, playtime, enrichment and relaxing with her favourite people. She is looking for a family who can give her the time, patience and guidance she needs to continue developing into a happy and confident adult. Dakota can currently be left for short periods of time, which should be gradually increased as she settles into her new home. Her ideal family will be ready to shower her with love and cuddles, keep her entertained with fun toys and reward her with tasty treats. In return, Dakota will bring plenty of fun, affection and personality to her new home!
