About This Dog

Millie's ideal home

Millie is a gorgeous 9-year-old German Shepherd x Collie who is a very affectionate, playful girl looking for a special home where she can truly flourish. She loves nothing more than playing, having cuddles and being made a fuss of, and she enjoys meeting new people and exploring off-lead areas. Millie is housetrained and has so much love to give. She could live with secondary school-aged children who understand her boundaries and are able to respect her needs.

Could you be Millie's perfect match?

Millie does struggle with dog reactivity and can be strong on lead, so she is looking for an experienced home that is willing to continue working patiently with her. Millie needs to be muzzled in public and kept on lead. We have made great progress with her and she can now walk alongside a calm, independent dog, provided they understand and respect her boundaries. Millie could potentially be left for short periods, but this would need to be introduced and built up gradually once she is settled in her new home. For the right person, Millie will be a loving, fun and rewarding companion.
