About This Dog

Millie's ideal home

Millie is an energetic 1 year old Akita X German Shepherd. She is Looking for a
fairly active home that can give her the physical and mental stimulation she
needs. She will need to be the only pet in her new home but has the potential to
have some doggy friends on walks that match her playstyle once settled in her
new home. Millie could live with children of Older Primary School age that can
undestand she may want her own space and will listen to her when she shows
she is uncomfortable. Millie has poor recall and a high prey drive so we would
advise she is kept on a lead or Longline outside of the home to avoid her running
off. Due to this, she will need her own secure garden to provide and off lead
outlet and space to play with her new family.

Could you be Millie's perfect match?

Millie came into our care due to her family moving home, she is a sweet, friendly
girl who once she knows you enjoys a fuss and cuddle on her terms. She can be
strong on lead and would benefit from some training around walking on a Loose
lead to help make walks more enjoyable for both her and her new family.
