Oakley is a beautiful four-year-old Husky and German Shepherd Cross who loves spending time outdoors and exploring with her trusted companion by her side. She is a friendly girl, but she is the quieter and less confident half of the pair, taking reassurance from her lifelong kennel mate, Warner. Oakley enjoys gentle fuss and attention from people she knows and is much more relaxed and confident when Warner is nearby. Ideally, Oakley would be rehomed with Warner so they can continue to enjoy life together, but she could also potentially live with another calm, confident dog of a similar size. She could share her home with sensible, dog-savvy primary school-aged children.

Oakley is looking for a patient and understanding family who can help her settle into her new home at her own pace. She can become worried when left alone, but when she has canine company she is happy to relax for longer periods, so any time left should be introduced gradually once she has had time to settle in. As a strong girl, Oakley will need adopters who are confident handling her on walks and who can continue to build her confidence through positive experiences. In return, you'll gain a loyal, gentle companion who will flourish in a home that understands her needs and gives her the security she is looking for.
