About This Dog

Miley's ideal home

Miley is looking for a calm home with minimal visitors, especially when she is settling in. With active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, provide her with fun and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep her brain busy and who will take the time to help her settle in at her pace and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She could live with sixth form/college aged children who will understand that she will need time to settle in, who will play with her nicely and give her space to rest when needed. Miley could live with a calm and established dog who will happily co-exist with her and engage in occasional play with her, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, she would be happy with calm and polite walking buddies, she cannot live with cats or other small furries. Miley is learning about the world outside and to walk on a lead right now, she can be enticed to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat as she can get a little distracted. She would like her own private, secure garden to potter around and play in at her leisure. Miley is very worried being left so is looking for adopters who are home the majority of the time, especially to begin with, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Miley will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home with potential home visits to make sure that she is settling in nicely, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Miley's perfect match?

Sweet and loving girl Miley is a 6 month old German Shepherd cross who is just learning about the outside world. Whilst she is learning she relies on her favourite people for reassurance which is helping her to build her confidence day by day. She absolutely loves playing and jumping around on agility equipment and is slowly learning to play with toys. She likes to be close, sidling up beside you with her head under your chin. This wonderful girl will make a loving companion to the right family.
