Elfie's ideal home

Elfie is a beautiful 4 month old German Shepherd cross Boxer puppy looking for her new home. She has a sweet girl with a sensitive nature. A home with a secure private garden will help with Elfie's toilet training and provided an area where she can play off lead, while she builds up her social skills around other dogs. Able to share her new home with children over 14, Elfie may be able to live with another well rounded adult dog who enjoys the playful, boisterous mischief of puppies. Being only 4 months old, Elfie is still finding her feet and getting used to all the interesting and potentially scary new experiences the world has to offer, she will benefit from adopters who are happy to take things at her pace to help build her confidence. Elfie has never been left home alone before, so this will need to built up very gradually once settled.

Elfie is an energetic and affectionate pup, who can be worried around handling. She is still building her confidence and we are seeing a more of her endearing personality come out every day. Elfie has not experienced much of the outside world and is going to need lots of time and support from her new family as she grows up. New experiences will require gradual exposure for Elfie, she can be worried and vocal in the car and when she sees dogs and traffic on walks. She is a very sweet girl who will make a loving companion for the right family, looking for a larger breed. Please note, when adopting any puppy under the age of 6 months from Dogs Trust, it is a requirement for them to attend puppy classes with our Dogs school.
