About This Dog

George's ideal home

George is a gorgeous 1 year old Collie cross! With his playful, happy spirit, you’ll quickly see what a fun and affectionate boy George is. He absolutely loves his toys and will happily get stuck into a game of tuggy with his favourite person. George loves a gentle fuss and a good scratch behind his ears, and when he’s feeling unsure, he may look to you for reassurance and comfort. He adores meeting new people and is quite the charmer, often rolling over to ask for a tummy rub! As a high energy young boy, George will thrive with adopters who can take him on fun adventures and give him plenty of opportunities to stretch his legs. He will need plenty of kindness and support from his future adopters with his ongoing training.

Could you be George's perfect match?

His ideal home will be in a calm, rural area with access to quiet walking routes, as busy roads, other dogs and car travel can feel overwhelming for George at the moment. A secure garden is important to help with his ongoing toilet training and give him somewhere to enjoy quieter rest days. He’ll need to be the only pet in the home and he’d suit living with sensible, easy-going upper secondary school children, provided the household is calm and quiet. George will also need someone who can gradually build up his alone time as he settles into his new home.
