Rona's ideal home
This is Rona, a beautiful approximately 8-year old crossbreed who has recently come into our care. We don't have any history of Rona living with children, but we feel she may be able to live with children of secondary-school age who can understand when she needs space and give her calm, consistent guidance. Rona would suit owners who enjoy an active lifestyle, are happy to put time into training and are looking for a fun, affectionate companion with plenty of personality! She loves playing fetch and would enjoy having her own private garden, although it is not essential, and any garden fences should be at least 6ft due to her size. She'll be fine having visitors in the home, provided her adopters spend some time working on her greetings, and any time left alone should be built up very slowly.

Rona is a lively, affectionate and wonderfully playful girl who is looking for an understanding home where she can build her confidence and learn at her own pace. She can find kennel life and unfamiliar environments quite overwhelming, so her new family will need to be prepared to give her the time and consistency she needs to settle. Once out of her kennel and given the chance to spend time with her people, Rona enjoys fuss, has happily leant against her handlers for affection and seems to particularly enjoy being groomed! She is happy walking both on and off lead and travels well in the car, although she will need a suitable barrier to prevent her from trying to climb through into the passenger area. With patience, reassurance and lots of positive experiences, Rona has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a playful girl who will keep you entertained, enjoy your company and reward your patience with plenty of affection, Rona could be the girl for you.
