Benji's ideal home
Benji can live with teenagers but needs to be the only pet at home as he does not like to share his things. He is house trained and will chew on things that have been left out when alone, so best to make sure everything inappropriate is away before leaving him.

Benji is just bursting with energy and looking for an active family that might like to take him on adventures. He's a smart boy, we believe he's a mix of German Shepherd and Spaniel so very busy and enjoys having his mind occupied. Benji is friendly and he likes to say hello to other dogs but he doesn't always read their cues very well, and can sometimes persist in playing when they're not so keen to continue! He could certainly work on his social skills and keeping him socialised with suitable pals is a good idea. Benji likes to be left alone when eating something good, as all dogs do, and can object to having his tail and paws touched, which is why he's not suitable for living with young children. He loves to play fetch and teaching him to trade rather than taking toys off him is a great way to encourage him to leave things on command. Benji has already had some great foundation training and knows words such as sit, down, get your toy and wait.
