Meet Dolly, our sweet and a little shy 10 month old Setter Cross. This lovely lass has bundles of energy and loves to play, she likes a teddy, but does have a tendency to de-fluff them once she is done throwing them around. Once she knows you she is a real cuddle bug, she likes to curl up with you on the sofa, a good ear scratch is her absolute favourite. Our girl Dolly is ready to find her new home.

Could you be Dolly's perfect match?

Dolly is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean who can live with secondary school children who are confident around a bouncy and playful dog, who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest when needed. Dolly would benefit from living with another dog who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, she would love to have fun and friendly walking buddies. Dolly is a clever girl and already has a little training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit” and “paw”, she is eager to engage in training in short sweet sessions if a tasty treat is on offer. She would like a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about in at her leisure. Dolly can settle in the home, she could be left for up to 2 hours with the help of some enrichment and toys to keep her busy, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
