About This Dog for Adoption
Daisy's ideal home
Daisy a sweet girl who has come into our care for no fault of her own. As she's always lived in a home, she's understandably found kennel life a little overwhelming but with support and encouragement she's truly blossomed. Daisy can be a worried soul so would love a quiet and peaceful home with children 16+ who can understand her worries. She can struggle when it comes to making new human friends, but with patience and loves she soon comes around and shows off what a lovely lady she is. Daisy isn't a big fan of formal handling such as grooming or seeing the vets, she's been learning to wear a muzzle for these situations and with a few tasty treats she's making lots of positive progress! It's important Daisy has her own safe and secure garden where she play and explore. She has previously been housetrained however may need a little refresher as she settles back into life in a home. Daisy has previously live with a cat and we think she could do again but we recommend introductions are done gradually. Daisy has been left for an hour or so, however has been known to chew novel items so will need a safe area when she's left. We do recommend any time being left is built up slowly allowing her time to settle into her new home. Daisy has been making some doggy pals here at the centre and we think she could share her home with another calm and polite dog following a meeting here at the centre.
Could you be Daisy's perfect match?
Beautiful Daisy has so much love to give and once you're friends you can see what a wonderful and cheeky personality she has! She's a clever girlie and knows a "sit" "paw" and "down", we're sure she'll be eager to learn more. Daisy does have some ongoing medical needs and is currently on medication that may need to be continued in her new home. Our team here at the centre would be happy to discuss her needs with any potential adopters.
