About This Dog

Narla's ideal home

Narla is a fun loving 9-month old Labrador cross with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. Full of energy and enthusiasm, she loves nothing more than a game of chase or a good round of catch, making her the perfect companion for an active home.

She absolutely adores people and, once she gets to know you, becomes a very affectionate and loyal companion who will happily shower you with love. Narla enjoys her walks and is always eager to get out and explore the world around her.

A clever girl, Narla already knows some of her basic commands, including “sit,” “down,” and “paw.” She’s keen to keep learning and thrives on positive training, especially when there’s a tasty treat involved! As she’s still young, she may need some continued guidance with her basic training, including housetraining and learning to be left alone for short periods. Narla could potentially live with another dog, following a successful meet at the centre, and would be best suited to a home with children aged 14 and over.

With her playful spirit, intelligence, and loving nature, Narla has all the makings of a wonderful companion for a family ready to help her continue her training and enjoy plenty of fun filled adventures together.

Could you be Narla's perfect match?

This dog is currently being rehomed under our Homestay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Homestay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with owners to minimise the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative suitable dog.
