About This Dog for Adoption

Tristen's ideal home

Terrific German Shepherd Tristen is on the search for a dedicated family who want to get stuck into positive rewards based training. Tristen has been loving life of foster and has been working on his basics and housetraining- this will need to be continued in his forever home. As Tristen’s teeth are coming through he has shown to be quite mouthy- he needs adopters who understand this and can redirect him onto positive outlets like enrichment and chew toys. Tristen is still learning how to wear a harness and keeping all four paws on the floor when greeting people. He can live with sensible primary school aged children where interactions can be managed around mouthing/nipping. Tristen could live with other animals in the home as long as they are introduced appropriately.

Could you be Tristen's perfect match?

Tristen is an active young boy with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Tristen absolutely adores learning new things, using his brain to figure out challenges. He loves food and this is a great reward tool for training sessions. Tristen enjoys playing with all types of toys but it is great to have some chew ones to hand with his teething. He is a great boy who has so much potential with a family who can dedicate the time and energy to a young pup.
