About This Dog for Adoption

Molly's ideal home

Meet Molly! An amazing, almost 1 year old, German Shepherd. She loves to keep you company in all activities and would love to join on adventure days out. Molly will thrive with a family who are passionate about training and as she’ll need the basics and some fun games to keep her mind stimulated too. Molly will need to be the only dog in the home as she can react to other dogs. Her confidence and social skills could potentially be worked on once settled in the home and the team can chat through how to go about this before adoption. For any children in the home, they should be of secondary school age and comfortable around lively dogs as she can jump up when saying hello. Molly will need minimal alone time and some help with house training.

Could you be Molly's perfect match?

Molly is a fabulous girl who adores being out and about. She loves exploring out on walks as she is a curious girl. Playtimes in the field are great fun so she would love a garden area of her own. Molly is a big fan of treats and doesn’t mind helping herself to a few extra freebies. Her love of food will come in handy for on-going training and can be incorporated into games. Molly will be a wonderful girl to work with and welcome into family life.

German Shepherd Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a German Shepherd.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the German Shepherd Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
