About This Dog

Hope's ideal home

Say hello to Hope! Hope is a sweet, 1 year old German Shepherd. She will need to be the only pet in the home and could join a home with children of secondary school age who are sensible and used to larger dogs. Hope would love a secure garden of her own to play in and to help her with her toilet training. Once settled, leaving hours could be introduced gradually.

Could you be Hope's perfect match?

Lovely Hope came into us after being found as a stray. She is a clever girl and already knows some commands such as "sit" & "paw" and would benefit from learning some more things such as walking with a loose lead as well as building her confidence around other dogs. Hope is a real foodie so some yummy treats will help with this and provide a fun way to bond. Hope will need a secure garden of her own as she will need to be kept on lead in public due to being underconfident around other dogs. Our training and behaviour team can offer advice for how to help her build confidence with this once in the home. Hope is such a friendly girl and has been happy to meet everyone at the centre and she loves a cuddle. With a little time and understanding, she will make a wonderful addition to her new home.
