About This Dog for Adoption

Buck's ideal home

Buck is a five-year-old German Shepherd who's a little shy at first, but once you get to know him, you'll discover a loyal and loving companion. Buck's ideal home is a quiet one with a confident, dog experienced family with not too many visitors. It's important to give him time to warm up to new people at his own pace. He thrives in a calm environment and can live with secondary school aged children but no other pets please. We would like anybody interested in Buck to be happy to come to our centre multiple times whilst he gets to know you and he’s got some medical needs that our wonderful vet team can discuss with adopters.

Could you be Buck's perfect match?

Buck adores having company and will be your shadow once he trusts you. He's happiest when he's spending quality time with his humans. Buck has a playful side and loves his toys. Whether it's a game of fetch or a squeaky toy to chew on, he'll enjoy playtime with you or happily take himself off and play by himself. Buck knows our timetable by heart and you’ll find him waiting patiently for his breakfast, lunch and dinner! He loves food so much and it’s a wonderful tool to use to engage him with training and building a special bond.
