Max's ideal home

Max is a lively 3 year old GSD Cross who is searching for his forever home. Max is a fun, loving boy, he loves learning and playing with toys, but his favourite thing is having fuss from his favourite people. Max would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Max loves to greet his human friends by jumping up and can be a little boisterous in his play style so for this reason any children in the household would need to be of secondary school age. Max does have hip dysplasia which will require lifelong management in the way of ongoing pain medication combined with regular hydrotherapy/physiotherapy sessions. Max does enjoy being outdoors and likes his walks, although these need to be limited due to his medical condition, therefore he will require a home where he has access to a secure garden. Once Max is settled in his forever home, he has the potential to be comfortable with leaving hours between 1 and 4 hrs. He is happy and comfortable travelling in a car. If you rent your property, please have written landlord permission before applying.

Max is a lovely, sweet natured lad who has found his way into our care through no fault of his own. Max had so much fun when he was in his foster home they said he housetrained and very much a fun houseguest. Max is a bouncy happy boy who likes to meet people and interact with his human friends. He is very intelligent and a fast learner. Max also has his affectionate side and enjoys fuss and cuddles. Max will make a loyal, fun loving companion. Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
