About This Dog for Adoption
Pipistrelle's ideal home
Say hello to baby girl, Miss Pipistrelle! Pipi is a 3-month old GSD x looking for her forever home. Pipi could be rehomed with a resident dog in the home that can show her the ropes (as long as they can keep up with her energy!). Being a young shepherd puppy, she will need a lot of training, confidence building and ongoing support. She will grow to be a large dog, so she needs owners that are understanding of the breed, the requirements and traits. Pipi is a young girl and is currently in her shark phase. She can be quite nippy and mouthy in play, so any children would need to be 11yrs+ and confident with bouncy dogs.
Pipi is a very typical puppy who loves food and attention, though she can be snatchy with treats! She is unsure about being walked on a lead, so this will need work as she grows older. Due to her breed, we would need adopters that are experienced with the Shepherd breed as we suspect she may be part Malinois. She will grow to be a very high maintenance breed and will need lots of exercise - she won't be for the faint of heart!
She has been underfed, so she does need to separate from her kennel-mate, Hedgehog, during mealtimes to ensure they don't squabble.
Pipi will be such a fun pup to work with and train to be a wonderful companion. Her dog socialisation will need to be kept up as she will be a large breed, but we cannot wait to see her flourish!
Pipi is instantly friendly with new people, but does jump up to nip your hands. Being an incredibly clever girl, she will pick up any training super quickly, especially with the aid of treats!
Could you be Pipistrelle's perfect match?
Pipistrelle is looking for a very active home with breed experience, with the aim to do some training and confidence building! She will be such a fun, rewarding companion to have join the right family. She is such a gorgeous, sweet girl with bags of potential. She would love to do other forms of training and enrichment such as agility and scent-work, as this will tire out her busy brain.
She will need some support with toilet training and coping alone, as she has never been left alone. She will need someone that is around for most of the time to build this up slowly.
We cannot wait to see Pipi having fun with the perfect family!
