Chester's ideal home

Chester is a gorgeous six-year-old German Shepherd cross Portuguese Podengo. He is looking for a loving home with gentle, compassionate adopters. He could share his home with teenage children. He is looking to be the only dog. He will need a home without cats or small furries. He has no history around livestock. He could cope with a reasonably busy household. He is housetrained and travels well in the car. Chester has history of being happy left alone for a few hours at a time. This is best built up gradually.

Chester has certainly got the looks! He is a clever boy too, he already knows a bag of tricks including a sit, down, and paw. This stunning boy can be shy with new people initially and then soon enjoys a fuss and snuggles once he knows you. Chester likes rural walks and lacks confidence around other dogs. He looks for reassurance and is happy to walk around other dogs if they are calm. He loves to have a game of fetch with you. His favourite toy is a ball. He enjoys a dental stick and his favourite treat is chicken.
