Georgie's ideal home
Beautiful and fluffy boy Georgie is an 8 month old German Shepherd cross with a heart of gold. Playtime is his favourite time of day, he loves running around and playing with is doggy friends and playing an epic game of tuggy with his rope toys. He is a super affectionate lad, who enjoys a fuss and a back scratch, he will happily climb on you for cuddles. This gorgeous boy is on the lookout for his new home.

Georgie is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, provide him with fun and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep his clever brain busy and give him all of the love and care he deserves. He is a friendly bean who can live with older primary school children who are confident with larger dogs and who will understand that he is a bouncy boy and can be a little clumsy, children who can play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when he needs. Georgie could live with another playful dog who doesn’t mind an intense greeting, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, he would be happy with friendly and playful walking buddies. Georgie has some training under his belt, he knows his name and does a lovely “sit” and paw”, he is a super smart boy and is happy to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat for encouragement. He is looking for a home with a private or communal, secure garden with high fencing for him to potter about and explore in, although this is not a necessity. Georgie can settle in the home in short intervals if kept busy with toys and enrichment, so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Georgie will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
