Chase is a young boy with so much potential. Born deaf, Chase needs a special family who can help him experience the World in his unique way. Chase is looking for a patient and dedicated forever home that will take the time to teach him through hand signals and visual cues. He’s a bright, eager-to-please dog who will thrive with gentle consistency and positive reinforcement. His new family should be prepared to continue working on his house training, helping him learn a regular routine and guiding him as he figures out what’s expected of him indoors. Chase is still learning how to be polite in his interactions with other dogs, so an owner who can help him practice calm, positive social behaviour will be a wonderful fit. A home that offers structure, security, and understanding will allow Chase to blossom into the amazing companion he’s meant to be. He would be best suited to live with teenagers in the home who can contribute to a safe and loving home. Experience with German Shepherds or dogs with additional needs would be helpful, but more than anything, Chase needs someone with patience, kindness, and a willingness to learn alongside him. In return, he’ll give his heart completely — offering loyalty, affection, and a deep bond that goes far beyond words or sound.

Charming Chase is a one-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart and a playful spirit. He has a special way of experiencing life as he is deaf! He takes this in his stride and is full of curiosity. With the right guidance and patience, Chase is eager to master hand signals and visual cues to help him understand the World around him. Chase absolutely adores his toys and loves a good game, especially when it means spending time with his favourite people. He’s happiest when he’s getting fussed over or enjoying a cuddle after playtime, and he also appreciates a good nap (or two!) throughout the day to recharge. Chase will need patient and understand adopters and in return he will offer endless love, loyalty, and laughter. He’s a bright, affectionate boy ready to start his next chapter with a family who sees how truly special he is.
