Herman's ideal home

Herman is a sensitive boy who would love to find a quiet home. He's a big softie at heart but has shown worries around formal handling. Herman is looking for a home where children are secondary school age. He loves to get out and about but can find seeing other dogs a bit frustrating and get himself into a bit of a pickle. As he's a large lad he'll need adopters that are able to hold him if this happens while he works on his training. A secure garden will also give him that safe and secure place he needs to let off steam. He has previously lived with cats and could do so again following a successful scent swap and gradual introductions in the home.

Herman is a 4yr old German Shepherd. He’s fully housetrained and is able to be left home alone for a few hours. He needs some confidence building with car travel as he can be restless. With a bit of training in those areas he finds more difficult he’s going to make a really amazing companion. Breed experience will be beneficial.
