About This Dog for Adoption

Jess's ideal home

Jess is a gorgeous 1yr old German Shepherd Crossbreed who had a pretty difficult start to her life leaving her very worried by the world. She has come a long way while she's been with us and we're so proud that she's now ready to find her forever home. She will need dedicated adopters who are prepared to take their time getting to know her and work with us to slowly transition her into a home. She won't be able to be left alone initially but in time should be able to be built up to spending short periods on her own. She'll need a calm and predictable life where she can learn a good routine so an adult only home is a must. We know she is capable of great things, she just needs the right environment, and adopters, to help her thrive.

Could you be Jess's perfect match?

Jess LOVES being with other dogs and they really boost her confidence. Due to this she must live with another patient dog who can cope with her initial settling in and be a good role model for her. Jess still needs to be neutered so she can only share with female or neutered male dogs. Although it will take a few meets for Jess to gain confidence with you, once she knows you she is so much fun! Super playful and full of affection. She just needs a little time and patience to set her on the right tracks. Due to the multiple visits required, her home must be within a 1hr drive of the Leeds rehoming centre and have a secure garden for her to play in. Add Jess to your favourites if you are looking for a fab young dog who's bursting with potential and you're happy to do some great training along the way.
