About This Dog for Adoption

Gibson's ideal home

Gibson is gorgeous 3 year German Shepherd Cross, with a playful nature. He is best suited to an adult only household with adopters who are confident around a sometimes excitable larger dog. Gibson loves his walks, he is a strong boy on lead and will benefit from continued training, to build his social skills around other dogs. He will need to be the only animal in his new home and ideally have a secure private garden as Gibson has some medical issues, ‘Spondylosis’ and hip dysplasia. He is a sensitive boy at times and prefers to eat his meals in a quieter area where he will not be disturbed. Ideally his new adopters will be able to build any leaving times up gradually once Gibson has settled in at home. As Gibson can become anxious around his important resources, such as food and toys, his adopters will be given guidance and support by our centre training team before he goes off to his new home.

Could you be Gibson's perfect match?

This fun-loving boy turns into a big puppy when he’s offered a new toy to play with, and he’s especially fond of the soft and squeaky kind! He’ll happily keep himself entertained but joining him in a game with his toys is a great way to cement your friendship. His other favourite pastimes include sniffing about on his walks, fusses from his favourite friends, and settling with a tasty chew while lounging on a big comfy bed!
