...SORRY ...PENDING COLLECTION AT THE WEEKEND....Hi , I have a stunning KC Registered Male for sale . He is 17 months Old . This is the 2nd time I have put him up for sale because last time I couldn't bare to part with him . ( I was being selfish ) My dog is a very extremely loved pet and lives indoors . He will need to go to an experienced owner as he is a strong boy . He loves football , running and playing . I am rehousing him because I live in a small flat and it is not fair to him . He needs a home with a garden . He is extremely affectionate but is equally an amazing fast guard dog . He loves kids , cars and the beach , however he can pull on a lead and can be reactive to other dogs .He likes other dogs and will play with other dogs , but if other dogs bark at him he will bark back . He is still very much trainable and follows basic commands . His recall needs some work so for this reason he is only ever off the lead when in a secure garden . He is extremely intelligent and it is going to waste . I want him to go to the best home for him and would like to receive updates , pics etc . Just so I know his welfare is good . Has been wormed , flead, vaccinated . Comes with KC papers .

German Shepherd Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a German Shepherd.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
