Description

Molly's ideal home

Molly is a pretty two-year-old German Shepherd looking for a quiet home with adult adopters. Molly will need a home where she can be the only pet in the home. Molly is a sensitive soul who would prefer a home with minimal visitors. She is wary of strangers, however, when you know Molly you will find her to be affectionate and loving. Molly is worried by other dogs coming close to her and is seeking quiet, rural walks where she can keep her distance. She does not enjoy car travel so will need access to quiet walks close to her home. Molly is seeking a home with a good-sized garden so she can play ball to her hearts’ content. Molly is housetrained.

Could you be Molly's perfect match?

Molly loves to have a game of fetch with you. Her favourite toy is a ball and often she likes to chill in your presence with a ball in her mouth and watch the world go by. It does not take long to have Molly as a friend, she has made friends with many of our volunteers; sitting down with a friendly, soppy voice, treats and a ball go a long way to win her heart! Molly adores a fuss and snuggles. Molly does seek reassurance from her trusted people; she loves to hear that she is a ‘good girl’ and ‘you’ve got this!’ Molly has been trained to wear a muzzle when out and about on walks. She enjoys quiet rural walks, and wide-open spaces where she has the choice to move away and keep her distance from what worries her. Molly likes nice, tasty treats and she already has some basic training including a ‘sit.

Buying Checklist

German Shepherd Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a German Shepherd.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
